San Diego Death, Sucide, Human Decomposition Cleaning Services
San Diego Death, Suicide, Human Decomposition cleanup
Welcome to A&M Bio-Recovery services, located in San Diego, California. We are experienced members of the biorecovery community, consisting of crime scene cleaners across America. Our job is to clean places where traumatic injury have taken place, blood cleanup, human decomposition cleanup, death cleanup and suicide cleanup.
Do you have a property where a death has occurred and need it cleaned up? We specialize in unattended death cleanup, biohazardous waste removal, body fluid cleanup and places of gross filth cleaning. While our services are not inexpensive, we most likely will be able to work with your homeowners, auto or business insurance.
We are the only woman AND United States navy veteran owned company in Southern California (San Diego) and have cleaned up hundreds of sites where a tragic event has occurred. Please call us today to inquire about your specific cleanup needs. We will be happy to walk you through the process of our decontamination procedures.
Bloodborne pathogens are microorganisms such as viruses or bacteria that are carried in blood and can cause disease in people. There are many different bloodborne pathogens including malaria, syphilis, brucelloses, Hepatitis B (HBV), Hepatitis C (HCV), herpes, E.coli, hantavirus and the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV). Bloodborne pathogens can and live in dried blood for weeks, some scientist have proven them to live in dried blood for more than a month!
We realize that many of our clients are hotels, motels and apartments, and other high public visibility areas, and that it is important to reduce public awareness of tragic events in such environs. To that end we have tailored our operations to ensure the utmost discretion. No member of the staff will interact with media, regardless of their level of awareness of the scene. We will arrive in nondescript unmarked work vans and our personnel will be professionally attired, yet inconspicuous as to their purpose.
Each hotel, motel or apartment scene will have two technicians assigned; one who will suit up and work the scene. The other will act as the ‘runner’ for anything the cleaning technician may need. This reduces the appearance of personnel in personal protective clothing that may cause undue concern and curiosity for incidental onlookers.
Most decontamination processes typically last under five hours in duration. However, decomposition cases and extremely bloody scenes may require more time due to the level of contamination and the techniques required for odor abatement.
We use only Non-hazardous chemicals and materials in our processes. All chemical compounds are environmentally friendly and leave no residue.
Complete disposal services will be provided for contaminated materials generated at the scene. These items are handled in accordance with OSHA and California Regulations. In the course of the decontamination process, we take the utmost care to preserve as much as possible. With thorough decontamination the primary focus, the work may entail removal of wall-board, studs, flooring and furniture. Full communication with engineering staff will be accomplished prior to any structural removal.
All contaminated items will be removed, and contaminated non-removable surfaces will be cleaned and decontaminated as required. Disinfectants will be used where necessary, and sealants applied as appropriate. Odor abatement techniques may also be employed. Upon completion we ensure a safe, clean environment for your staff and habitable surroundings for your future guests.
Each scene will be evaluated and priced individually with a written estimate provided to the customer prior to the execution of work.
Digital photographic documentation will be provided for insurance and legal purposes. Photographs will show the scene before work begins, and after decontamination has taken place.
Our rates are in accordance with Industry Standards, although we realize that some events require adjustment and reconsideration based on the specific needs of the client. Payment options are available for those who may lack the ability to pay in full at the completion of the job.
Most business and homeowner’s insurance policies will cover the cost of the decontamination and restoration processes. We will be happy to work directly with insurance providers as this may assist in reducing the stress experienced by our clients who have other pressing matters to attend to during such a traumatic time.
Due to the dangers inherent in methamphetamine lab cleaning, we have chosen to leave that task to our fellow CTS companies. Instead, we have chosen to focus on the issue of Blood Borne Pathogens and assisting those who have experienced traumatic events resulting in contamination from human body fluids, or gross filth situations (pack rat syndrome). We will also consider decontamination required as a result of animal decomposition.
“When police depart, then we start.” Just give us a call. No job is too small to be considered.
