A & M Bio-Recovery is owned and operated by E. Marie FitzGerald, a retired U.S. Navy Medical Intelligence officer. She is also a former Tucson Police Officer and a Forensic Scientist by training, so she brings a particular expertise to the industry. Her staff is rounded out by a California Licensed Practical Nurse, a former Chula Vista Community Service Officer, as well as other trained individuals who offer compassion, detailed work, and professional expertise. We are professionally trained in the area of Bio-Hazard cleanup and are experts in Blood-Borne Pathogen cleaning, and odor remediation.
A & M Bio-Recovery was featured on the 2009 release of the Hollywood film "Sunshine Cleaning" in a special feature called "A Fresh Look At A Dirty Business". Additionally, Marie FitzGerald was a feature speaker during the 2007 American Bio-Recovery Association (ABRA) annual meeting. She spoke on her experiences as the Officer-in-Charge during a deployment with the USNS MERCY to assist tsunami victims in Banda Aceh, Sumatra, Indonesia in the early months of 2005.
We have been consulted numerous times during emergencies where numerous deaths and traumas have occurred, most notably the earthquake that devastated Haiti.
